As CEO of Elford, Mike is actively involved in all aspects of the company’s operations, including business development and marketing, client relations, pre-construction, and operations. Mike proudly represents the fifth generation of his family’s leadership at Elford.

In addition to his role at Elford, Mike is the President and co-founder of Elford Development. Over the last decade, Mike has successfully led the development, construction, and management of more than one million square feet of multifamily, retail, and office projects valued in excess of $300 million. His strategic and operational leadership, along with his interpersonal skills, have paved the way for the company’s success.

Mike is also deeply involved in the community, serving as Board Chair for the Upper Arlington Community Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. He is also a Board Member for the Nationwide Children’s Foundation, The Catholic Foundation, and YPO Columbus.

Mike lives in Upper Arlington with his wife and four children.

Jim currently serves as Elford’s Chairman of the Board and is a board member for the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio Foundation, Columbus Speech and Hearing, Associated General Contractors State of Ohio, OSU Civil Engineering Advisory Board, Columbus State University Foundation Board, and Hilliard City Schools Business Advisory Council. He also serves as a trustee for the State of Ohio Carpenter Pension Plan.

Jim is a leading expert in construction management, with over 40 years of industry experience and hands-on involvement in every facet of the business. As Chair, Jim is responsible for establishing and leading Elford’s strategic mission and core purpose: To Build, Serve, and Lead while Supporting Our Community and Enriching Lives. He is passionate about continually developing Elford as a “Built to Last” company while also being a valuable partner to his clients.

As Chief Operating Officer, Don Anderson plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding Elford’s operations to ensure the delivery of best-in-class construction services. With a strategic mindset and a hands-on leadership approach, he actively supports all aspects of the company’s business functions while focusing on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Don collaborates closely with project teams to develop innovative solutions, optimize scheduling, and enhance communication strategies that align with clients' needs and project goals.

With more than 30 years of experience in commercial construction, Don has built a well-rounded career spanning multiple leadership roles, including Superintendent, Project Manager, Estimator, and Vice President of Preconstruction. His deep industry expertise and ability to bridge strategic planning with field execution make him an invaluable asset to Elford’s continued success.

Beyond his role at Elford, Don is a dedicated advocate for the construction industry, serving as a board member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Central Ohio Chapter. His commitment extends to mentoring the next generation of builders and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the industry.

A resident of Grove City, Don enjoys traveling, golfing, and exploring the outdoors in his free time.

Ed Kendall has served as Elford’s Chief Financial Officer since April 2021. He is responsible for overseeing the accounting, finance, and information technology functions of the company. Prior to joining Elford, Ed was an officer at NiSource, Inc., where he led capital and construction planning, shared services, risk management, and financial planning for the Fortune 500 energy and utility company.

Ed is a former Columbus Business First “40 Under 40” recipient and has served Lutheran Social Services as Vice Chair of the Administration and Finance Committee. He was also the former Chairman of The Homeless Families Foundation in Franklinton.

Ed graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and earned an MBA from The Ohio State University. He lives in Worthington with his wife and three children.

Eric Bull brings more than 23 years of construction leadership experience to the Elford team and is a recognized leader in the region. His involvement in over $3 billion worth of projects has made him knowledgeable about the issues and challenges within the construction industry. Eric leads the daily operations of Elford and drives customer engagement.

A dynamic, high-energy leader in the community, Eric serves as a Board Member of the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio and the Delaware Foundation. He is also involved with Olentangy Businesses and is a former member of the Olentangy Local School District Facilities Advisory Committee and Chair of the Ethos Building Committee in Lewis Center.

Ken has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry at all levels. He provides executive leadership and direct involvement in project planning, preconstruction, project management, and field supervision, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Elford’s safety and quality standards.

Prior to joining Elford, Ken served as Senior Director of Facilities Design and Construction for The Ohio State University, where he was responsible for an 80-person department that delivered over $250 million in university construction projects annually. He led OSU through the implementation of Ohio Construction Reform and has experience managing projects from an owner’s perspective using various delivery methods.

Erick Piscopo joined Elford in July 2020 as Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Talent Officer. With nearly 30 years of experience and leadership in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and telecommunications, he oversees the hiring, development, and well-being of Elford’s people and leads several of the company’s customized development programs. Erick’s philosophy is engaging and personal, building relationships and meeting people "where they are."

An approachable and high-energy community leader, Erick is involved with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, and formerly served on the First Community Church Governing Board as Treasurer for six years. He has also been active in youth sports in Upper Arlington.

Erick graduated from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development. He lives in Upper Arlington, OH, with his wife Beth and is the proud father of three daughters.
