All In. All Safe.
Our safety plan and statistics are unparalleled in the construction industry.
We see OSHA requirements not as goals, but as bare minimums to be exceeded. Our Superintendents complete a mandatory 30-hour safety course delivered by a Certified Safety Professional. This course has two tracks: a safety track and a health track. We have been recognized by construction and safety associations nationally, regionally and locally for our outstanding safety record and program.

Our Commitment
At Elford Construction, safety is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards on every job site, ensuring that our team, clients, and the public are protected. Through comprehensive safety plans, regular training, and proactive safety stand-downs, we create a culture where safety is ingrained in everything we do. Our dedication to safe practices is not just a protocol — it's a core value that drives us to deliver every project with the utmost care and responsibility.
Before construction starts, all subcontractor personnel must attend a mandatory safety orientation covering the project safety plan, emergency response protocols, and site expectations. Elford uses a hard hat sticker program to verify orientation completion, with no personnel allowed on-site without proof, ensuring a secure work environment.
Every project has a site-specific safety plan designed to prevent injuries, property damage, fire incidents, and occupational illnesses. These plans incorporate detailed policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone on and around the site, prioritizing a safe work environment at every stage.
At Elford, every project includes regular safety stand-downs to emphasize our commitment to a safe work environment. These stand-downs allow us to pause operations, review safety protocols, discuss potential hazards, and ensure all team members are aligned on safety best practices. This proactive approach fosters a culture of safety, helping to prevent accidents and protect everyone on the job site.
