Project Description

Elford, Inc. and Continental Building Co. partnered with the City of Upper Arlington to complete the construction of Upper Arlington’s new 7-story, 155,000 SF community center facility. The 95,000 SF Bob Crane Community Center is housed on floors 1-5, while 60,000 SF of leasable office space occupies the remaining two floors. A rooftop terrace is also included on the northwest side of the building along Tremont Road. This state-of-the-art facility includes an aquatics center, gymnasiums, exercise floor, senior lounge, running/walking track, serving/demonstration kitchen, meeting rooms, arts and crafts space, child watch and indoor play areas, gathering spaces, and associated administration. The community center is part of a mixed-use development led by Continental Real Estate, Inc. on the site of a former Macy’s department store at the Kingsdale Center.

This state-of-the-art facility includes an aquatics center, gymnasiums, exercise floor, senior lounge, running/walking track, serving/demonstration kitchen, meeting rooms, arts and crafts space, child watch and indoor play areas, gathering spaces, and associated administration.
