Project Description

Located north of Columbus, the Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) is a career technical institute providing technical learning skills and industry-focused labs for highs school students and adults continuing education courses. With facilities located on two campuses, DACC chose to consolidate its north campus learning facilities into the south campus location. Elford was selected to provide construction services for a new building addition, interior renovations and management of the relocation of equipment from the north campus to the updated south campus facilities. In addition,
Elford assisted the career center with public relations and marketing objectives to help eliminate the perception that the DACC is the “best kept secret” in Central Ohio.

"The first, and mot important comment I want to mention is Elford's willingness to prioritize the instructional process. UP front, we gave them a schedule of critical dates including testing. They worked around those dates ad made sure there was no noise nor other disruptions during those times. Similar to the instructional priority, operation needs were the top priority when a phasing plan was developed. "
