Project Description

Interior renovation of the existing 14,670 SF locker room facilities within the Basketball
Practice Facility at the Schottenstein Center. Renovations included existing locker rooms, treatment room, weight rooms, film room, player’s lounge, and a new Hydroworx therapy pool. New work included high-end finishes and a custom millwork package for players lockers and lounge areas. The project also included demolition in existing areas followed by installation of new walls, floors, and acoustical ceilings. An extensive MEP renovation was performed throughout modifying the Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical to fit the plans.

PROJECT SUCCESSES

  • Work was completed in a tight urban space without interruption to ongoing activities
    at the Schottenstein Center.
  •  Elford successfully worked around existing infrastructure to tie in new MEP systems
    and technology.
  •  The facility was turned over to the owner on-time despite, unforeseen conditions that
    were uncovered during the therapy pool installation.
