PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This new 574,560 SF, 58-dock warehouse was constructed on the 35 acre site known as Site F. The building was constructed utilizing a steel superstructure with 40-foot clear height and load-bearing precast concrete wall panels.
Several months after construction commenced, the entire facility was leased to Cardinal Health. Cardinal’s goal was to be fully operational 3 months following the substantial completion of the core and shell. Work for this tenant improvement portion of the project included canceling and re-ordering rooftop HVAC units, fire pump, and overhead doors, and a new tilt-up concrete chem vault addition. Through the preconstruction process, Elford was able to pre-order long-lead time materials in order for Cardinal Health to meet its schedule goal.
