PROJECT DESCRIPTION

To accommodate their rapidly growing Parish, St. John Neumann commissioned Elford for this expansion and renovation project of their Sanctuary. The new Sanctuary seats 550 and was designed for future expansion (1,100 seats). The new Sanctuary is now raised to provide visibility to the entire nave. A new connector unit between the Parish offices and Faith and Family Center was also built.

Elford was also the construction manager for a two-phase project for a new 21,000 SF two-story Catholic Parish
Community Center located in the existing parking lot, a 5,000 SF renovation to the existing social hall, additional parking and extensive sitework. Phase 1 includes the new Parish center which houses a multipurpose space on the ground level, 10 classrooms for religious education and group meetings on the lower level, a new kitchen, a two-stop elevator and ancillary spaces. The Phase II renovation of the existing Parish hall includes subdividing 2,725 SF of the first floor to create Parish offices and upgrades to 2,341 SF of the basement level including new paint, ceilings, lighting and partition walls.
